A Museum for the whole family

Imagination Station is a non-profit, inclusive, member-run children's museum located in historic Hickman Park in Augusta, Georgia. We offer a variety of interactive educational exhibits that we rotate seasonally and occasional programming for children from birth through elementary school and their parents or caregivers.

Our exhibit space includes:

  • Sensorimotor Corner: A space for babies and toddlers to explore their senses

  • The Fixer Upper: A hands-on workshop where kids can learn about construction

  • Science Corner: A place to learn about the natural world

  • The Pre-Literacy Room: A space for kids to learn about reading and writing

  • The Art Studio: A place for kids to express their creativity

Members pay an annual fee and contribute to staffing and programming. They receive free admission to the museum, as well as discounts on programs and events. Visitors pay a fee for admission to the museum and participation in most programs.

We believe that all children deserve access to quality educational experiences. That's why we offer a variety of membership options to fit every budget. We also offer free admission to children under the age of 1.

We hope you'll visit us soon and experience the magic of Imagination Station!
